Nestled in the heart of the Indian Ocean, Sri Lanka — formerly known as Serendib and Ceylon — is an island of timeless beauty and rich heritage. With a continuous history of human settlement dating back over 2,500 years, it is often referred to as the Pearl of the Indian Ocean and the Paradise Island of Asia.
From pristine beaches and lush rainforests to misty mountain ranges and fertile plantations, Sri Lanka is a treasure trove of natural wonders. Among its most iconic agricultural exports is the coconut, a crop that has shaped both the culture and economy of the island for generations.
The coconut ekel broom, made from the midrib of the coconut leaf, holds a special place in the daily lives of many in the Asia-Pacific region. Long valued for its simplicity and utility, the traditional ekel broom has now evolved—thanks to modern innovation—into something more durable, ergonomic, and eco-friendly version.
We are proud to unveil the BrooMaster®—a uniquely crafted coconut ekel gardening broom that combines Sri Lankan tradition with contemporary design and sustainability.
Product Innovation
Having identified the drawbacks of the traditional ekel broom, we continuously worked to enhance its quality and eliminate common practical issues. Our goal has always been to deliver a superior product that not only meets but exceeds user expectations.
Innovative Design
The BrooMaster® features a patented polypropylene ekel holder, crafted through precision injection molding. This recyclable plastic component adds enhanced structural strength and durability, significantly extending the broom’s lifespan.
Through ongoing development and research, we have refined BrooMaster® into a truly unique product. According to our findings, no other broom on the market offers the same combination of tradition, innovation, and sustainability. Its distinct design and performance set it apart from any comparable alternatives.
Eco-Friendliness: Every BrooMaster broom is made from:
